St. Vincent Health Introduces New Lab Director
St. Vincent Health recently welcomed Brent Ford as the hospital’s laboratory director. Brent hails from Aspen, Colorado where he has lived since 1995. A theme throughout Brent’s life has been his love and respect for natural resources and interest in biology and science.
Brent was raised in Argonia, Kansas and since his childhood has had a deep appreciation for small towns and rural communities. As a husband to wife Elizabeth, and father to two adult sons and one teenage son, Brent places a high priority on family time. He spent a period of time as a traveling lab director, but now looks forward to time at home with family before he and his wife becoming empty nesters. Brent is community minded and loves to attend local activities and outdoor recreation opportunities.
Quality and safety go hand in hand with customer service in Brent’s book. He has been a lab professional for 37 years and a lab director for 23 years. Brent’s management style involves listening to patients needs to discover how he can be helpful. “My role at St. Vincent is important to me. I want to help this community continue to receive quality health care from our COLA certified Laboratory,” commented Brent.
