Staying on Her Feet: Kelli McCall’s Journey with Podiatry

For Kelli McCall, movement isn’t just a pastime — it’s a way of life.

As an active and athletic Leadville local, Kelli thrives on running, skiing, and embracing all that the outdoors has to offer. But when a serious foot injury threatened to slow her down, she faced a difficult decision that could have changed her lifestyle.

“I had been seeing another doctor who recommended surgery,” Kelli recalls. “They referred me to Dr. Bruce Noxon because of his expertise — and I’m so grateful I was.”

From the start, Kelli knew she was in the right hands. Dr. Noxon, a podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon, immediately understood her goals and values. “He really got me,” she says. “He knew how important staying active was to me, and he worked with that in mind every step of the way.”

Kelli describes Dr. Noxon as approachable, attentive, and deeply committed to his patients. “He answers calls, texts, and emails — that kind of accessibility is rare,” she says. “He always made time for my questions and helped me understand my options.”

Dr. Noxon guided Kelli through an innovative surgery;  she was the first in the Vail-Summit area to receive! “Dr. Noxon’s skill and commitment to ongoing professional development made it possible for me to access this cutting-edge treatment, close to Leadville,” Kelli says.

Dr. Bruce Noxon has clinic hours every Thursday at St. Vincent Health. You can schedule with him by calling 719-486-0230.
