Professional Life

Anja is a business owner and consultant specializing in acquisition integration, due diligence synthesis, change management initiatives, data security compliance, systems implementations, and other key program and project management initiatives. She completed her Masters in Health Informatics (MSHI) degree program and holds the CPMI (Certified Post Merger Integration Specialist) designation. She has served in managing director and director-level roles at organizations including a national consulting firm, a healthcare utilization management company, niche consultancies, and revenue generation and management roles for SaaS companies and business process outsourcing providers.

Non-Profit Experience

Anja volunteers with Lake County Build a Generation to help advocate for increasing the availability of truly affordable housing in Lake County. She also has served as a mentor to undergraduate students at Arizona State University.

The Importance of St. Vincent Health and the Health of Lake County

Anja believes that St. Vincent Health is a critically important part of Leadville and Lake County. As a relatively new year-round Leadville resident, she finds that many local community members do not always appreciate how important it is that we have ongoing access to an emergency room, family medicine, physical therapy, and all the other important services offered by the hospital district. She volunteers her time with the LCHF because she knows St. Vincent Health is a resource we need. Anja implores people not to wait until there is a medical emergency before appreciating how we all must support SVH’s strength and longevity.

Personal Life

Anja enjoys hiking, trail running, snow shoeing, cross country skiing and ballet. Her favorite activity is reading books. She and her husband have a 2-year-old rescue dog named Scooby.
